Born in Arkansas, Rolsey started broadcasting at 11 years old and never looked back. He was too small to make it as a player, but big enough to decide the booth was always the plan, and baseball has since taken him all over the world. Now based in Australia, Rolsey calls games for the Australian Baseball League and major international tournaments, including WBSC World Cup events and World Baseball Classic coverage. He carries the joy (and occasional pain) of St. Louis Cardinals baseball everywhere he goes, and reserves a special kind of fury for MLB’s regional broadcast setup.
